It all started with a dream from my younger self of petting a squirrel.
That dream has since materialized, and well, "petting" squirrels is almost a daily occurrence!

Hello! My name is Kristy, and I am the founder of Foothills Wildlife Rehab. I've always had a passion for animals, and now that passion has turned into a mission to rescue, rehabilitate and release wildlife in need.
Outside of rehabilitation, I am the mother of two beautiful daughters, as well as a grandson - They are my world.
Every animal deserves a second chance, especially when each one is a vital part of the local ecosystem.
The Mission
My mission here is to give every living creature a chance to live a great life in the wild where they are meant to be. My motto is: It's their world, we just live in it!
My Vision
Here at Foothills Wildlife Rehab we aim to always follow the 3 'R's: Rescue, Rehab and Release.
This means every animal within my care is given the best chance at rejoining their natural habitat. From diet to enclosure, I do my best -with the help of the public- to provide that!
